Life Giga Regio Factory is a European project funded by the LIFE Programme under proposal number 101077258. The Life Giga Regio Factory project builds on the knowledge and advances already acquired by the team to accelerate the improvement of Net Zero Energy renovation solutions capable of meeting tomorrow’s needs and trends.
This objective will be achieved by leveraging best practices from industrialization processes to reduce costs. The project focuses on developing support technologies and industrial solutions to improve housing renovation. It pursues three main objectives:
Develop an open-source housing stock qualification tool, along with a smart aggregation strategy, to launch large-scale industrialized collective renovations at net zero energy level;
Develop a comprehensive solution integrator accelerator, through coaching companies that integrate and assemble industrial solutions, enabling them to design 100% industrialized offerings;
Develop a giga-factory industrialization kit, enabling solution providers to scale up and adapt their offerings to meet massive demand.
